Adams Speedline F11 TI Fairway Wood

Tuesday, December 21st, 2010

The launch date of the new Adams Speedline F11 line is coming and I was finally able to catch a glimpse of the entire lineup.  The new F11 TI fairway wood is geared for the average player looking to improve their game from the fairway as well as the tee thanks to an oversized titanium head design.  The slightly larger head shape and patented dual velocity slots on both the crown and sole of the club deliver a 36% increase in COR as well as a higher MOI.   This technology increases ball speed by 5.2 mph resulting in twelve yards of increased carry yardage.  At first, I was nervous about the velocity slot on the crown, however after a few practice swings, it looked and felt quite natural.  In fact, I am tempted to order the F11 Ti because I feel it is a great alternative to a driver on short or tight par fours and I have hunch that the velocity slot will help with my alignment. The Speedline F11 Ti is offered in lofts ranging from 13* to 18* and will be equipped with two premium graphite shafts, the Aldila Voodoo and the Matrix X-Con 7.1.
