Wilson Staff Vizor Putter

Wednesday, October 27th, 2010

If you are having putting problems, chances are you are not keeping your head still throughout the entire stroke. A majority of teaching professionals agree that consistent eye and head position allows for less errors and more consistent putting. The new Wilson Staff Vizor Putter helps combat that problem by helping golfers lock into the correct position at address. Simply identify your intended line, position the putter to that line, lock in your eyes and complete your stroke. The “locking in” part is made possible thanks to a reflective, mirror like alignment aid that allows you to see your eyes in the putter head from the setup position. I know it sounds strange at first but it really works! The Staff Vizor Putter also features a high MOI for forgiveness on off-center strikes and a soft urethane insert provides great feel at impact. It is time to take control of your putting, pre-order your Wilson Staff Vizor Putter today!

Adams Idea Tech V3 Iron Set

Friday, October 22nd, 2010

If are looking for the latest and greatest iron set from Adams, check out the new Idea Tech V3 Iron Set.  Adams claims that Idea Tech V3 is the most forgiving and easiest to hit iron set that they have ever created and after checking them out in the shop, it is not hard to believe them.  The look is sleek and stealthy thanks to the dramatic nickel finish with a dark PVD finish and I have a feeling that this set will become the new standard for game improvement iron design.  The Idea Tech V3 iron set is comprised of 4 hybrids and 4 game improvement irons that flow naturally from one club to the next.  The V3 hybrids features strategically placed tungsten weights in the heel and toe of the club which lowers the center of gravity and increases the MOI for added distance on off-center strikes.  A thinner crown design allowed more weight to be positioned lower in the club head for improved launch conditions and the face is 2.4mm thinner for increased ball speed across the entire hitting surface.  Perhaps the biggest improvement with the V3 is the newly designed 4-way sole which helped reduce turf drag by a whopping 30.5%.  The transitional hybrid mid-iron bridges the gap between the hybrids and the traditional irons and it does a great job.  This club features a 4-piece viscoelastic vibration dampening for exceptional feel and the face of this club is also 2.4 mm producing a very hot ball flight.  The 8-iron through gap wedge are forged and are more traditionally shaped for maximized scoring potential.  The forged construction as well as the integrated vibration dampening badge makes for great, responsive feel.  We are very excited about the launch of Idea Tech V3 Irons and you should be too!  Take advantage of our 30-Day Test Drive and try this set out today!

Wilson Staff FG62 Iron Set

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

Want a classic set of blades?  Look no further than the new Wilson Staff FG62 Irons.  With the success of last year’s limited run of FG 59 irons, Wilson decided that they have  found a market for players that love old school blades and to be honest, when it comes to classics, Wilson does do it best.  The new FG62 is a classic muscle back design with a sleek look and soft lines.  Although these irons are designed for the better player, Wilson made the FG62 more playable than the FG59.  The slightly larger head shape, a slightly lower muscle, and a wide cambered sole makes this set of irons a true modern classic.  We were able to take sneak peak at this set last week and they are stunning.  The fit and finish of this iron set is remarkable and in my opinion they rival even the best forgings coming out of Japan.  The FG62 irons are limited release, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to pre-order your set for a November delivery date!

Callaway Diablo Octane Driver

Friday, October 15th, 2010

What happens when Callaway and Lamborghini pair up to create a driver?  You get remarkable, ground-breaking golf club and like its race car counter part, it is made for speed.  The new Diablo Octane Driver is made from a revolutionary new material that is lighter and stronger than titanium.  This forged composite material consists of 10 million turbostratic carbon fibers that reinforce 33% of the clubhead.  The lighter clubhead allows more weight to displaced in the perimeter and lower portions of the clubhead for an increased MOI and much higher ball speeds than the previous Diablo Edge.  Callaway’s patented hyperbolic face technology produces consistent ball speeds across the entire hitting surface by removing excess material from the face through a chemical reduction process.  The Diablo Octane comes equipped with one of the best shafts on the market, the Project X graphite.  When all is said and done, the Diablo Octane is easily one of the most technologically advanced drivers on the market and for the price, you cannot go wrong.  But WAIT, there’s more!  Budget Golf is convinced you will love this driver and we are backing with an unconditional 30-DAY Guarantee No Questions Asked Promotion!!!  We will even send this driver to you with FREE 2nd Day Air Shipping and if for any reason you are not satisfied with the performance of this driver you can send it back to us within 30-days and we will even cover the return shipping costs!  Take advantage of this incredible offer now and order this driver!!!

Wilson Staff D-11 Irons

Thursday, October 14th, 2010

The Wilson Di line has always been a great seller for us and we are pleased to announce the launch of the new Wilson Staff Di-11 Irons.  Like the previous Di models, the Di-11 Irons went through extensive testing and the report from the range was astounding.  The D-11 irons are designed for the average golfer looking to improve their ball striking and from the sounds of it, they will deliver!  Tests indicated that the D-11 irons were 36% more forgiving and had faster ball speeds than comparable models from Ping, Callaway, and Taylormade.  The soles of the Di-11 are wider than previous models to help with turf interaction making the irons easier to hit off tight fairways.  The wide soles also make the club more stable during impact and it also promotes a higher ball flight.  For those that loved the famed Fat Shaft Irons, the Di-11s also feature a shaft with a wider tip.  If the Fat Shafts were not your cup of tea, don’t worry.  The shaft of the Di-11 are nowhere near as wide and they do help stabilize the club at impact.  To help with vibration dampening, the cavity of the Di-11s are coated with a lightweight elastomer material.  For the price, these Wilson irons over perform and we are excited to see how well they do this fall.  Pre-order your set for a November delivery!

Odyssey Ti-HOT #2 Putter

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

The original Odyssey Tri-Hot series has always been one of my favorite putters, and in my opinion, it is still one of their best offerings to date.  This November, Odyssey is releasing an updated version that will please any Tri-Hot enthusiast.  The new and improved Odyssey Ti-HOT #2  is a limited edition putter that is milled from pure titanium which provides a softer feel than steel and has a pleasing sound and responsive feel at impact.  The precision milled head has a deeper, sharper milling pattern for better face interaction which results in a truer roll, better feel, and more consistency.  Like the original Tri-Hot design, this limited version also features tungsten weights in the heel and toe of the putter head to help stabilize the head at impact.  These weights increase the MOI and also lower the center of gravity to promote a quicker forward roll.  There are only 1250 of these fine putters available, be sure to place your pre-order before they all sell out!

Odyssey Prototype PT82 Putter

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

Want the putter that Phil used to conquer Augusta?  Well now is your chance!  This November, Odyssey is releasing the Prototype PT 82 Putter and it is pretty much identical to Phil Mickelson’s own putter.  This putter is the pretty much the same design as his gamer and features the same White Ice Insert, sleek styling, as well as the milled tungsten insert that is placed behind the face.  The White Ice insert is fine tuned to enhance sound, responsiveness, resiliency, and consistency.  The inner core of the White Ice Insert is 19.6% firmer to enhance the feel and 92% stiffer to increase the resiliency which helps golfers with distance control.  The surface of the insert is also rougher than the previous designs by Odyssey.  The rough texture enhances the sound of the ball coming off of the face and also promotes better roll by increasing the friction between the ball and the clubface.  Behind the insert lies a milled tungsten insert that ensures precise weight and feel and was placed there to meet the demands of one of the games greatest players.  Besides the technology within this classic little blade, perhaps the most exciting feature is the way it looks.  The PT 82 is classically styled and in my opinion, is one of the best looking heel-shafted blades on the market.  The dark finish frames the ball nicely at address and there is only one single sight line to aid with alignment.  The PT 82 Putter will be available to ship in mid-November, order yours today!

Adams Idea Tech V3 Hybrid

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

For years, Adams has been creating some of the best hybrids on the market and so far the new Idea Tech V3 Hybrid has been getting rave reviews.  The V3 is the latest installment to the famed Idea Tech lineup and boasts a higher MOI, increased launch angle and greater ball speeds than previous V3 models.  The V3 hybrid features strategically placed tungsten weights in the heel and toe of the club which lowers the center of gravity and increases the MOI for added distance on off-center strikes.  A thinner crown design allowed more weight to be positioned lower in the club head for improved launch conditions and the face is 2.4mm thinner for increased ball speed across the entire hitting surface.  Perhaps the biggest improvement with the V3 is the newly designed 4-way sole which helped reduceturf drag by a whopping 30.5%.  The Idea Tech V3 comes equipped with the premium Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara graphite shaft and is offered in lofts ranging from 18* to 33*.  Pre-order yours for a November delivery date!
