Cleveland Niblick New for 2009

Cleveland Golf Introduces the New Niblick Scoring Club Featuring Zip-Grooves and Gel-Back Technology!!

Finally, a golf club that can save me from myself around the green!! The Cleveland sales rep. was just by to show me the new toys!! There is one golf club that I noticed before he even took it out of the bag. It is the new chipper called the Cleveland Niblick. Cleveland says this is the “Ultimate Scoring Club” Who doesn’t like to score? It is exactly what I was looking for to replace my 7 iron from chipping around the green. The Niblick comes in two lofts: 37* and 42*. The Niblick comes with the Zip Groove technology that has made the CG12 and CG14 wedges the best sellers in the store. These grooves are the best in golf. Can you tell I’m a fan of the Cleveland wedges? They continue to put out the best feeling wedges in golf. The Niblick has the gel back insert that is in the CG14 wedges. It provides the soft feel that is desired around the green. The head comes in the gunmetal finish that will allow for reduced glare as well. I used the Odyssey chipper that came out last year but it was too soft of a feel for a chipper and that is what has me so excited about this Niblick. It has the same face as the wedges that I already own. The Niblick is set to start to ship to stores in Mid-October and you can believe that I will have one in my hands that day!!

I am not sure what took Cleveland so long to make this product, but I am glad they did!

I’ve been a Cleveland wedge guy for quite some time and can’t wait to get this new chipper. They offer the best feel and control of any wedge I’ve ever used.

It looks a little weird, but I am willing to give anything a try if it helps my game.

I just bought one today and it works pretty well. It feels great (just like all the Cleveland Wedges) but is more functional to use on standard chips around the green….almost idiot proof. The 8 deg of bounce on the “wedge” sole makes it impossible to chunk. I’d suggest hitting it on full-shots too. It’s shorter and more stable so it keeps the full shots right on line….the 42 deg goes PW distance and has good spin from the ZIP Grooves.

This club is a Short Game Savior! For us old hacks it works great. Thanks
