First and foremost, it is important for you to carry a stiff golf case that will protect your clubs. You will surely not want your golf clubs to be smashed in transit. The case must not cave in under pressure. It is better to have it reinforced with some metal. Test the bags before buying them. You can also attach a name tag or some form of information so that it does not get mixed up with other similar bags. Also, if you lose it midway, then you can expect people to return it.
You must also take some extra golf balls or golf shirts with you in case you need them. It is a good idea to pack them up in the case so that they do not get lost in the luggage and you get them when you need them.

Great advice you guys. I’m planning a trip soon and just bought a hard travel case because I’ve heard stories that the airports can damage clubs and I don’t want that to happen to me. It’s always good to be prepared and pack some extra stuff like balls and even some tees for that matter.
