Waterproof stand bags have been catching on lately and for good reason, golfers that are more prone to walking the course are generally willing to brave tough conditions. Mizuno’s new Aerolite WP Stand Bag is quite easily the nicest waterproof stand bag on the market. The Aerolite WP is based on the popular Aerolite platform and has many of the same features including the Kabuki top organizer cuff, Aero-straps with Slider Strap technology, cable grip, hydro-sleeve and shower cap. To make this bag fully waterproof, Mizuno constructed the Aerolite WP with their patented ImperLite fabric and features laser-cut heat welded zippers to keep moisture from leaking in through the seams. The Mizuno JPX 800 Pro Irons are new this season and boy am I excited to hit these irons! I have been anxiously waiting for the JPX line to come state side and so far I like what I see. Although I am big fan of the JPX fairway wood and hybrid, the JPX 800 Pro irons are what have me reeling! I have owned several sets of Mizuno irons in the past but I always felt I could use a little more forgiveness on the linger irons but I never wanted to sacrifice workability or feel. With the JPX 800 Pro Irons, I will not have to sacrifice a thing. The JPX 800 pro irons are designed to offer an optimal blend of forgiveness, distance, and feel. The JPX 800 Pro irons boast the highest COR to date of any Mizuno Grain Flow Forged Iron as well as the highest MOI for a game enhancement club thanks in large part to the CNC milled cavity milling process in the 3-7 iron that provides a low and deep center of gravity. A solid power bar in the short irons and wedges increases feel and control where golfers need it most. Modal Analysis and Harmonic Impact Technology are employed in the JPX 800 Pro to produce optimal feel and sound to golfers who demand it. For better turf interaction from a wide variety of lies, the JPX 800 Pro features an aggressive Triple Cut design sole that will easily handle anything you throw at it. Over the past month, reviews of this iron have been glowing and Golf Digest recently awarded this iron a gold medal in their 2011 Hot List. Order your set of JPX 800 Pro Irons today from Budget Golf!
If you read my blogs, you can probably tell I am a huge Mizuno fan and this year’s line of products has me very excited! For the first time, Mizuno is releasing their JPX line to the American market. The JPX line of clubs has been a hit in Japan for years and for Mizuno fans on this side of the pond, we have been left wondering why they will not give these high performance beauties global distribution. However, this is no longer the case. I am already on the JPX 800 Pro Iron bandwagon and I might have to trade my MP 630 Fast Track for the new JPX 800 Driver. The Mizuno JPX 800 Driver is geared for the mid to low handicap golfer looking for the ultimate in distance, forgiveness, and feel. The JPX 800 driver utilizes both a Hot Metal Face as well as newly patented UDS technology. The JPX 800 is 460 c.c.’s and boasts a six-piece plasma welded construction that provides excellent feel at impact and also allows for precise COG placement for high launch and low spin. UDS stands for Ultimate Dynamic Stability and this technology delivers consistent speeds from both vertical and horizontal miss-hits for maximum performance across the entire hitting surface. The internal weighting of the JPX 800 driver is located deep and low in the clubhead with more of the weight located in the heel area for a deep COG that promotes a high launching, draw-biased ball flight. When you combine the above technology, the end result is a driver that looks stunning while still providing premium performance and value. The Mizuno JPX 800 Driver is available now and qualifies for FREE UPS Ground Shipping!
So far I have been very impressed with Mizuno’s new lineup this year. In fact, I am considering a purchase of the new JPX 800 Pro Irons which I feel to be a perfect blend of playability, feel, and forgiveness. And although I am not really searching for a hybrid, the new Mizuno JPX 800 Hybrid has my interest peaked. As with all Mizuno products the JPX 800 Hybrid looks stunning, especially from the address position. The head is compact, and I find the dark blue finish to be quite appealing. My only gripe, albeit a small one, is the alignment aid on the top of the club. I think it is too large and I think it would be better if they just left it off. As far as technology is concerned, the JPX 800 is loaded. This club features Mizuno’s patented Hot Metal Face Technology which is used to create an ultra-thin and incredibly strong stainless steel face that provides explosive distance and solid feel at impact. The JPX 800 also utilizes Ultimate Dynamic Stability technology which helps establish consistent ball speeds from both vertical and horizontal miss-hits for maximum performance across the entire hitting surface. A Hot Metal Face in combination with UDS technology is what really makes this hybrid stand out from all others on the market. Regardless of where you strike the ball on the face, the JPX 800 will deliver. Strategic internal weighting delivers an extremely low and deep center of gravity for effortless launch and decreased spin rates. Another great feature of the JPX 8oo is that the lie angle can be adjusted +/- 2* for a customized fit and better alignment thanks to the Mizuno’s patented, “Drop Down Crown.” A slightly beveled leading edge maximizes club head speed through the rough and provides better turf interaction regardless of where your ball ends up. The Mizuno JPX 800 hybrid is available in lofts ranging from 17* to 25* and is ready to ship! Order your new hybrid today and receive FREE UPS Ground shipping.
Rarely am I this excited about a golf bag, but the new Mizuno Aerolite X Stand Bags look amazing. Mizuno has shed their conservative skin and opted for a design that would appeal to a younger crowd. This limited run of Aerolite X stand bags feature bold colors and flashy designs and the prints are quite remarkable in person. My personal favorite would be the “Winged Shield” bag which has a blue and black abstracted inkblot design and “Digargyle” bag has a contrasting charcoal arglye print that really grabs your eye. The Aerolite X still has the same features and conveniences of the original Aerolite stand bags including an 8.5″ 7-way top with full length dividers, an AeroStrap shoulder harness, and AirFlow hip pad, a rain hood and a hydro sleeve. I am very pleased to see a company like Mizuno making youthful, stylish golf bags and I hope the trend continues. These bags are limited so if you are interested, I would hop this unique opportunity right now!
Mizuno has done it again! The new MP 63 irons are simply stunning and I will state without any hesitation that they are the best looking forged players cavity back to be released in quite some time. The MP 63 is designed for the better player that is looking for the ultimate combination of feel and maximum ball control which has been made possible thanks to Mizuno’s newly patented Diamond Muscle Design. From address, the MP 63 sports the same iconic profile and grain flow forging process that the games top players have come to know and trust. Various new designs were tested by Mizuno Engineers, staff players including Luke Donald, and the Diamond Muscle was the clear winner. The trailing edge has been ground down for better turf interaction giving players greater versatility throughout the set and the progressive “players cavity” ensures playability in the long irons and control in the scoring irons. If you are in the market for a new set of forged player’s cavity backs, you will not be disappointed with the Mizuno MP 63. I already have a custom set of these irons on order along with their new MP T-11 wedges, order your new set today!
In the past, we never sold that many Mizuno golf bags however that all changed last season when they revamped their bag lineup. Their bags were generally only offered in the patented Mizuno Blue and white and within a season the colors would fade and you would be stuck looking for another golf bag. Well, things have changed at Mizuno and they are now committed to making golf bags that are on the same level as their clubs. They still offer almost every style bag in the standard blue and white, however they are now offering the bags in a multitude of colors and unlike the bags of old, the news one are more durable and do not fade after one season! The new Mizuno Rider Cart Bag is large yet it still weighs in under 10 pounds and features a 9.5″, 14-way top with full length dividers. A soft, rolled cuff protects your graphite shafted clubs from bag wear and the full length dividers reduce the amount of bag chatter so your shiny forged Mizuno irons will not clank together and get banged up. An external putter shaft keeps your putter separate from your clubs for easy access and added putter protection. Other handy features include a chiller pocket to keep your beverages cold, a pelican pocket to store extra apparel, a glove grip, a range finder pouch and a matching rain hood. All in all, the Rider Cart Bag is perfect for Mizuno enthusiasts looking for a bag that is stylish and functional and proudly displays their passion for some of the finest clubs in the game.
